My name is Amy and I have suffered from hair loss since I was 17. It started out as just a small patch in my part line and over the years grew to what it is now.
I have tried everything you can think of. From Rogaine to hairpieces that were sewn to my existing hair and different fibers to make it appear thicker.
One day I woke up and decided enough was enough.
I started looking at wigs on the internet and came across K's Wig Shop. It looked like the small, intimate place I was looking for to make this next leap. When I arrived, everyone welcomed me with open and loving arms. I didn't feel embarrassed to walk in there without a hat or something covering my head.
I remember to this day putting on that first wig. I had my back turned to the mirror as Kaylee made the final adjustments. Once the wig was situated, she turned me around and I was speechless. In the reflection of the mirror was the person I had wanted to be since I was 17.
I had volume, I had style, I had everything I was looking for.
I walked out that day with 4 wigs only to return a month later for a 5th. Wigs have changed my life. They helped me realize that I can look as beautiful on the outside as I feel on the inside.
I only wish I had done this sooner.
